In Japanese beadwork, triangle weave is used to create the motif called Hana-Ami. The motif is very simple and quick to stitch , so I decided to whip up a pair of earrings using light green fiber optic cats eye beads, Caribbean blue colored bicone crystals and some silver colored seed beads for a bit of bling.
If you would like the pattern for the Hana-Ami Motif, I found it on Deborah Roberti's website, Around the Beading Table. She also has lots of other great patterns based on the Hana-Ami motif. Here is a link if you want to check it out. http://www.aroundthebeadingtable.com/Tutorials/Hana-Ami.html .
TTYL and make it a good night,

Oh, I love those. The silver/greens/blues are so wonderful and summery, and the hexagonal flower pattern reminds me of the old-fashioned flower garden quilts my grandma used to make.
Those totally hit nostalgia and fashion points for me.
Hi,Debbie:
Flowery motiff is always 'on top'
:-)
You've given nice beads and colors to this simple hexagonal flower. It really reminds the Japanese style.I read lots of it from my series of four books by Takako Samejima'Bead Fantasies'.The Japanese style is very delicate and simple. Each bead, its shape and color used to the stitch has got its symbolic meaning.
Warm Hugs-Halinka-
the color combo is gives me a sense of refreshingly cool, like the pretty blue ocean or something. very nice!

Turquoise and green are my fav colors! Add a little purple to the center and You'll have all three of my favorites!

These are gorgeous!
Reminiscent of the two shades of the blue/aquamarine water where the two oceans meet, down under in Cape Point, the South Western tip of my country... it's stunning!
These earrings are beautiful! I love that they're Asian-inspired.
